Topic: Capital Markets 2021 - COVID and Political Update
Summary:
2021 is set up to be a banner year for M&A and Direct Lending, due to a combination of pent up demand and record dry powder. We’ll discuss what that could look like and what kind of volatility could derail it. We’ll also discuss the impact of the GA Senate run-off and the impact on policymaking, including which sectors/industries could be most impacted. Finally, we’ll talk about how the latest vaccine developments are impacting markets, and the sectors that could well benefit if the vaccine roll-out is effective.
