Topic: Tips for a Successful Fundraise in 2019
2019 initially seems to mark a year of greater uncertainty in the market. There continues to be record amounts of dry powder to put to work on continuously high valuation deals. Disruption in trade negotiations and deadlock in Washington are causing fluctuation in public equities. While it’s anyone’s guess as to when it will happen and how severe it will be, a cooldown in the global economy seems inevitable. So how are all of these variables contributing to fundraising in 2019? Are LPs shifting their strategies and hedging their bets? What new questions are they asking GPs and what answers do they want to hear? Come listen to a mix of family office and institutional LPs to get their thoughts and tips on how you can prepare for a successful fundraise.
