Panel 1: Private Credit Market Outlook: Navigating the Remainder of 2025 and Beyond
We have experienced extensive growth in private credit, both in terms of capital raising and capital deployment, over the last five years. There has been both an infusion of new lenders and at the same time a consolidation of capital among a relatively small number of scaled credit platforms. What does the remainder of 2025 hold for those active in this market? How do private credit providers interact and compete with traditional bank providers? How are market dynamics, both domestically and internationally affecting the development of the private credit market? What factors are enabling the deployment of private credit, and what obstacles stand in the way of continued growth in this sector? Finally, what can we expect over the next 12-24 months in terms of capital raising and capital deployment trends in private credit?
Moderator: Sasha Grutman, Partner at MiddleMarch Partners.

Panel 2: Private Debt vs. Traditional Financing: Where Are Borrowers Going?
In a credit market shaped by rising interest rates and tightening regulations, borrower behavior is shifting—and fast. This panel will explore why more companies are turning to private credit funds over traditional bank financing, even when banks offer lower rates. Expect a candid discussion on what’s driving the trend: the need for speed, deal certainty, and flexible structuring.
Panelists will break down how regulatory pressures are affecting bank lending capacity, why private credit is winning more mandates in the middle market, and how sponsors are weighing execution risk versus pricing. Whether you're a lender, borrower, or advisor, this conversation will offer sharp insights into how financing preferences are evolving—and what it means for dealmaking in 2025.

In today’s evolving credit landscape, traditional due diligence is no longer enough. With rising market volatility, regulatory scrutiny, and increasingly complex borrower structures, seasoned lenders are sharpening their focus on critical red flags that can derail deals or erode returns. This panel will explore the latest shifts in diligence priorities — from financial quality of earnings to cybersecurity exposure, AI-related risks, legal compliance, and macroeconomic pitfalls. Panelists will share the most telling indicators of hidden risk, how diligence practices are adapting post-2023, and what savvy lenders are doing to protect themselves before term sheets are signed.
