Domenic is the Team Leader of Withum’s Healthcare Advisory Services Group. He is a Principal based out of the Firm’s New York office. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Domenic has a broad spectrum of knowledge with his background of financial and operational executive level positions. Primarily, he has worked in large academic acute care hospitals but also has expertise in long-term care and physician practices. In addition to his comprehensive executive roles, Domenic has extensive experience in cost containment, integration and consolidation of facilities, Revenue Cycle, Strategic Planning, and “right sizing” the cost structure of facilities to correlate with their volumes.
I advise health care systems, private equity backed companies and health care disrupters on a range of business-critical transactional and operational matters. During my 15+ years as a former executive and senior in-house counsel for the largest health care system in Illinois, I led health care mergers and acquisitions in excess of $10 billion, successfully navigated a range of regulatory reviews, and developed strategies to implement population health care on a regional scale. My practice has a particular emphasis on evolving health care strategies and value-based care.
Michael George is a Partner and Practice Co-Leader of Withum’s Healthcare Services Team, bringing over 30 years of experience. A licensed CPA in New York and New Jersey, he advises healthcare organizations on optimizing operations, improving financial performance, and managing risk.
Formerly an Audit Partner at a Big Four firm, Michael has led healthcare-focused practices and served a wide range of clients, including hospitals, academic medical centers, physician groups, nonprofits, and private equity-backed companies. Known for his deep industry expertise and client-focused approach, he delivers tailored solutions to drive growth and compliance.
